Meet some inspiring people I've been working with.

Most people hate there before photos, not me!
It’s a reminder of just how far I’ve come.

I have always struggled with weight but about ten years ago it really started to pile on. As a kid I managed my weight and health as I was a very sporting person and played lots of different sports every week. All of that went out of the window with a spinal arthritis diagnosis along with a recent diagnosis of ankolysing spondolytis. Which causes a lot of bone degeneration, inflammation and pain. Eight years ago I was also diagnosed with Hashimtos which is an auto immune disease and resulted in hypothyroidism.

Since starting Bootcamp Classes with Cheri, following her clean and lean eating program and completing her daily exercise routines, I have dropped a dress size (and a thigh size!!!) and feel leaner and stronger than I have in years. I wanted to lose the stubborn weight that had slowly crept on over the last few years even though I was regularly exercising. My food choices have improved and I order clean meals when I am dining out. I love my morning workout but feel even more motivated once I am at Bootcamp on a Saturday morning. The girls have become wonderful friends and every week Cher changes our exercises to keep it interesting and challenging, Cheri also lives in the ‘real world’ – and knows how to keep it real – even down to healthier versions of ‘grown-up’ drinks. Her protein balls are freaking awesome and you get one after every BC session. Even with the addition of two puppies to our crazy family – I can still work my routines and meals into my day. I can’t ask for better than that.

Christmas Day 2017 vs 25 March 2018.

I gained 12kg in 12 months. I then decided to lose those 12kg and have a better life and I have to admit

It’s hard to pull your shit in. I quit smoking a year ago and told myself not to worry about food or alcohol while I quit. I gained 12kg in 12 months. I then decided to lose those 12kg and have a better life and I have to admit, getting your eating and drinking right is harder than quitting smoking. No joke. It’s a 24/7 thing to think about what you're putting in your body and to avoid cravings getting the better of you. I’m 8kg down and happily on my way to reach my goal. Thank you to those that have had my back, I've needed it. And thank you to my trainer Cheri, who constantly reminded me that the cost (which is less than what I spent on smokes) was worth investing in myself.

corporate bootcamps

More and more employers are becoming aware that if their staff are in a good place both mentally & physically their work output is at a higher level.  Saying this a lot more people are wanting to become healthier version of themselves.

Stress can put a lot of pressure on the body, your muscles tense and people can have back & neck pain as well as headaches.  Exercise is an effective way to destress the body as it releases endorphins in the brain to relax the muscles and relieve the tension in the body.  When the body feels better so does the mind. People perform their working tasks a lot better when they are not as stressed.

There are so many benefits from having a healthy lifestyle.  Apart from relieving stress exercise can also improve memory, assists in a better night sleep and boosts your overall mood.  Research has indicated that you don't have to be a fitness fanatic to reap the rewards, modest amounts of exercise can make a huge difference.  It doesn't matter what your fitness level or age, corporate bootcamps are a great team building exercise that benefits both employer & employee.

about your PT

Hi, my name is Cheri and helping people achieve their fitness goals is my passion.

I have always been in the fitness industry whether it was teaching aerobics or pole dancing,  but 5 years ago I decided that I wanted to help people more directly and so I became a Personal Trainer.  I started out in a large corporate gym and over the years started to realise that there were so many people who actually didn't like training in a gym so 3 years ago To Your Door Personal Training (TYDPT) was born.  TYDPT has been structured to allow clients to choose a fitness program with which they are most comfortable with in their own surroundings, whether that be at your house or the park down the road.  TYDPT also not only provides 1 on 1 training, but partner training with either your friend or partner, small group training or bootcamps.  TYDPT has a fitness program to suit everyone.  So what are you waiting for?
Lets get started on the new you.
